While working for Sunshine Window Cleaning, I’ve had the opportunity to become a member of the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA), and I recently attended their annual conferences in Savannah, Georgia, and Orlando, Florida. The benefits it offers to window cleaning companies across the world is a great reason to become a member!

The IWCA’s mission is to promote the success of members through standards of safety, education advocacy, and research. Each year at the conversion, you can attend a wide range of classes that vary from marketing, business management, accounting, safety training and education, and product knowledge and education.

The owner of Sunshine Window Cleaning, Greg Reid, has been a member of the IWCA for many years, and he has spent much of his time during the last few as a board member. This year, he is serving as the President, and I couldn’t be any prouder!

One of my favorite things about being a member of the IWCA is the relationships I’ve built and the support I’ve received from window cleaning companies around the world. Last year, we had a few other companies from Idaho join us at the convention. Our local friends, Brian and Tom, from Poor Man Window Cleaning, https://www.poormanwindowcleaning.com/, and Picture Perfect Window Cleaning, https://www.windowcleaningboise.com/, were among those companies.

We had a great time visiting Disney World in Orlando, and it feels great to have a group of local companies who aren’t focused on competing and dragging each other down. Our focus as members of the IWCA is to build each other up, share our knowledge, and do everything we can to help each other have safe, successful businesses.
